The following rumors come from some-what reliable sources which SOME sites are going as far as saying they are truth, so they aren’t just “some guy said this would happen.” With that being said, NONE have been confirmed by Disney. Original D will not post as truth until they have been confirmed real.
-Mr. Lincoln. Discussions are being made at Disneyland regarding what to do with the “first 50 years” movie in the Disneyland Opera House. Apparently, they are leaning towards bringing back Mr. Lincoln and redesigning all the 50th displays to general “history of Disneyland” displays.
-Indiana Jones. If the previously confirmed Indiana Jones street show does well Disneyland is thinking that it will most likely replace Aladdin’s Oasis in Adventureland as a true stunt show.
-2009, the year of construction. California Adventure will begin its complete makeover. During this time visitors will have to enter the park via an alternate entrance that will either be placed near Monsters Inc in the Hollywood Backlot or in Downtown Disney just to the right of La Brea Bakery right next to Soarin’. Over in Disneyland, a planned renovation of the horse buggy rails all down main street means that Main Street will be walled up all the way down the center (probably with small gaps to cross in areas that they have already finished. In other words, walls EVERYWHERE.
-Electrical Parade. Once the Main Street construction is complete “Disney’s Electrical Parade” will once again become “Main Street Electrical Parade” and be moved BACK in to Disneyland Park! On top of that, discussions are happening in regards to changing the Blue Fairy float to a Tinkerbell float.
-“Wonder” Parade”. Disney plans to show a NEW parade in Disneyland in 2009 called “Wonder”. With all the construction going on and no new attractions opening in 2009, this is their attempt to bring people back to the park so they can still see SOMETHING new.
-Remember… Dreams Come True. They are planning on making a new ending to one of the most amazing firework shows in existance. Only diehard fans or people who have seen the show several times should notice.
-Fantasmic!. In an ongoing effort to keep upgrading Disneyland’s most impressive live show they are going to be isntalling new digital projectors this coming fall. The projectors SHOULD produce a more sharp and clear image on the giant mist screens.
-Entertainment Campaign. You will begin to see new ads reminding people of all the entertainment that is offered at the resort. This is in an attempt to keep attendance up during the mass construction in 2009.
-55th Anniversary Party. Disney is preparing for a huge 55th party. All of the new entertainment and refurbished areas will open and Disneyland should be in the best shape it has been in for a while. We’ll see what happens there.
That’s the end of this rumor report. Remember these are rumors that have not been confirmed by Disney, but they are also rumors coming from some-what credible sources. So take them with a grain of salt, but you can have a little hope… ;)

Disneyland has been giving amazing fastpasses that are good for ANY attraction (that has a fastpass system) ANY number of times on the day of the visit to certain VIPs. Who are these VIPs and why do they get these magic passes? These are mainly celebrities or other high profile people that would cause a crowd and a problem if recognized while waiting in the standard line. Going through fastpass line gives these people (often accompanied by their own body guards) less time to be noticed. They didn’t ask for the solution to be magic and wonderful, it just is. Well, for them anyway. How do you get your hands on one of these golden tickets? Become so popular that just by your presence in a normal line would cause chaos (that isn’t your fault). Yeah, that should do it.
