With the exception of one holiday weekend, it's offseason time at the Disneyland Resort. What does that mean? Construction, refurbs, work walls! Oh, my! With the holiday season over and the new year now fully upon us, it's off season once again at the Disneyland Resort. That means crowds are light, and refurbs are aplenty! The new year has also brought with it the start of the next step in California Adventure's Billion-Dollar makeover project, the Pacific Railway cars, and a complete draining of Disneyland's Rivers of America! Of course all the Paradise Pier projects continue, and Cars Land is also making progress.

So we're a full week into 2010 now, but today we'll take you on a look back at a little of how The Disneyland Resort did New Year's Eve 2010. The holiday season is out in full force at the Disneyland Resort. There's lots of bling, and lots of busy shoppers out there. That means Disney is doing a lot to bring those shoppers into the stores, and has some new stores open in Downtown Disney just in time for the influx of shoppers. We'll take you inside all the shops that you may not have seen before. In the parks, DCA's construction walls have become beyond insane. Paradise Pier really needs to be renamed "Pan's Labyrinth" but you'll also see how things are progressing over there, including some World of Color fountains testing! Maybe you'd heard that water was back in the Bay, but just wait until you see the fountains in action! Disneyland itself is shining quite bright in Holiday splendor, but many refurbs are coming in early January. We'll take you through the places that will soon go behind the refurb wall.
