Disney has released video of the official flame testing that will be used for World of Color. There have been a lot of different testing videos on youtube.com.
 
I was at the park 2 weeks ago, and could see the clouds lighting up purple and blue over DCA.
 
If this video doesn't get your blood pumpin and ready for June 11^th, 2010... I'm not sure what will.

That ugly platform is going to be submerged eventually right? It's such an eyesore so I hope it does and doesn't end up like the rigging for Illuminations at Epcot.

The platform will be submerged during the show, as well as, I'd assume, directly before & directly after it.  During the day, however, could be a different story depending on how much maintenance needs to be done to the fixtures on the stage on a daily basis.
