There are 4 types of annual passports: Premium (0 blackout dates), Deluxe (50 pre-selected blackout dates), Southern California (150 pre-selected blackout dates) and Southern California Select (195 pre-selected blackout dates).

Premium passports cost: $389 ea. (includes parking)
Deluxe passports cost: $269 ea.
Southern California passports cost: $174 ea.
Southern California Select: $134 ea.
All annual passports are for 1 full calender year. (if you purchase on May 1st 2009, the pass will not expire until May 1st 2010)
At any time, you may upgrade your pass to a higher level. All you have to do is pay the difference.
(i.e. you own a So. CA Select and would like to upgrade to Deluxe: $269 (cost of Deluxe passport) - $134 (already paid) = $165 (cost of upgrading to Deluxe Annual Passport)
Blackout days: If a day you wish to visit the park is deemed a "blackout date" then you will have to purchase a blackout ticket to get into the park. The ticket is considered a "Park Hopper", which means you can go to both parks, as many times as you would like, for that day.
Parking: You may also add Annual parking to your annual pass. The parking pass costs $59. If purchased, the pass is added to a single annual pass.
(i.e. family of 4 has annual passes, purchases parking pass, puts it on "mom's" annual pass, whoever she is in vehicle with when entering parking structure does not have to pay for parking)

$12 for cars and motorcycles
$17 for oversized vehicles, motorhomes,
and tractors without trailers
$22 for buses and tractors with
extended trailers }
* Annual Parking passes carry the same blackout dates that your annual pass has. If you visit the theme parks on a blackout date, expect to purchase a parking pass for the day as well as your blackout ticket.
*Premium Annual Pass holders do not have to purchase parking passes, they are included in price of passport. (and is on all premium passports, reguardless of how many are purchased)
