Still No Go for New Monorail

May 19th, 2008

It has been weeks since we’ve heard anything, but Disney made a few announcements today about the new Mark VII Monorail that was supposed to have already opened. They said that the new monorail is still undergoing “tests and adjustments”. The reason behind the delay are things like the doors and the air conditioning, among others. Disney Spokesman John McClintock said that they are both are working, but just not yet to Disney’s satisfaction. The only thing mentioned about an opening date was when asked if it would be ready for the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend he responded, “not at all likely”. We’ll keep you updated as more news comes in.
