Hey there, it's Ryan here. Welcome to our latest "mini-update" on Original D. While this picture update isn't as big as what you are used to from PeoplemoverMatt, it hits a few of the major points of the parks. We have a little coverage on the Food and Wine Festival along with a small construction update on a few areas. Enough with the words, let's see some pictures!
Let's head into the Food and Wine Festival! I bet you can't guess what we are celebrating there...
Look at that, a current map in DCA. Who would of thought of that idea? Just wait for the guests asking, "Why isn't Cars Land on this map?"
There is something about all of these signs that look so classy and then the words "Award Weiners" that makes me laugh.
Mr. Chef Man talking about his knife and how it is far superior than other knives...
All the people wondering why they are listening to Mr Chef talk about his knives.
Near the stage there is a merchandise cart that has some pretty cool things to buy. I like these glasses!
Several of these were set up, you start here...
...and walk through these areas to try the samples.
For a basic pic of the current progress with the fun wheel... The scaffolding is down, yay!
Over in Disneyland there is a random little work wall near the flag pole and Main Street Train Station.
It appears they are doing some curb work at the end of Main Street in the hub as well.
On our way into Tomorrowland it totally looks like Astro Orbitor is being taken apart!
Pretty interesting for a ride that isn't even listed on the site as being closed...
This is what I was talking about in the Podcast. If only we could see what was behind these walls!
Oh, there we go. Looks like the old fountains have been completely removed. Interesting.
While we're up here, let's take a look at Monorail and Nemo from above.
Work wall near Tomorrowland Terrace. Wonder what they are doing...
Uh, that doesn't look good!
Cindy's new shop looks kind of neat with Aurora's castle in the background. Kind of ironic, but it works.
Can't be this close without getting one new pic of the castle!
OK, so the squirrel was complaining of my lack of love for him, at least the reflection looks cool.
One last rare shot before we head home...
On the way out this was too cool to pass up. It looks great!
That's all for this Mini-Update of the parks. Let us know if you like something like this in between large updates or if you would rather just wait for a big one! :)
