Mini Picture Update 5/3/09

Hey everyone, Ryan here. This week I have a very small group of pictures that are more or less an update of what has changed since the last mini-update. Mickey's Fun Wheel, Astro Orbitor, Cosmic Waves area, and a few other things are pictured so let's head into the parks and compare with last week...

Here is the shot from the Blue Sky Cellar at what this thing should look like...

...and here is the real thing. It looks pretty dang good!

The dirt is still moving around, but now it seems there are cement squares showing up throughout the bay.

Parking structure was full, and here is proof of the crowds in DCA!

On the way out there was a new family swimming around in the Sunshine Plaza fountain.

In Disneyland, random wall #1 is still in place. :(

As you enter the hub the work wall has been removed to reveal the new curb work.

Astro Orbitor is seeming to make an exit, official word please?

The Cosmic Waves area has a little progress. Can't really tell if this is preparation to eliminate the fountains or put new ones in.

After removing what looked bad last week, it looks even worse. Good thing this is being addressed now rather than later!

The seagulls were holding auditions today.

The Finding Nemo Waterfall? More like WaterFAIL.

Last thing that was stumbled upon was a random work wall in Frontierland. This area seems to be only used during Halloween for the skeleton band...

Short and Sweet, that is what is going on at the Disneyland Resort this weekend as far as updates to the park. What are your opinions on the Astro Orbitor? Take it out completely, rebuild it, or relocate it?
